Meals on Wheels for Pets: 
Year round, we have a basket in our lobby to collect pet food items for families in need in our area.  Stop by anytime with any pet food you’d like to donate, which is picked up by the wonderful people with Meals on Wheels.

Solar Energy Reports: Grand Savings Totals for 2015
The Grand Total Solar Reports are in for 2015! Our hospital was able to have a carbon offset of 15,292 lbs, which is the equivalent of saving 185 trees!   We love our solar panels and are proud to go green!

 

   

Leah (R.V.T) and Brittany (Head Assistant) are licensed "Be A Tree" presenters! They love going to local elementary schools and libraries to educate children about dogs and their body language to prevent dog bites! 
The Be a Tree program is a dog bite prevention program for school age children, which focuses on fun and interactive activities to teach children how to read dog body language and how to act safely around their own dog and strange dogs.

Pet Wellness, Fitness, Fun, & Adoptions!  We enjoyed meeting all the friendly canines as they accompanied their owners while shopping at this new Asheville hot spot.  We were able to educate pet owners on important pet-relevant topics.

First Aide Class for Pet Owners – REI, Presentation by Dr. Mary Peters DVM, June 22, 2015
Dr. Peters taught important life-saving information to pet owners who frequently have their canines accompany them on hikes and other adventures.  It was a great turn out and always riveting to get first hand info straight from a veterinarian.

Charlotte Street Animal Hospital will have a booth at this fun-filled event!  Our goal is to inform pet owners of the importance of their pets' health and wellness!   We were excited to have a booth at this annual gathering for Wester North Carolinians to learn exciting new health info…including how to keep your pet’s happy and healthy!

 Join us to help keep our adopted part of Charlotte Street looking beautiful! Meet at Charlotte Street Animal Hospital and invite your friends and family too!
Our staff and family members all came together as volunteers to pick up litter along our Adopted portion of Charlotte Street.

 

CSAH's Holiday Pet Food Drive -- November-December 2015 & 2016

Charlotte Street Animal Hospital is very excited to be collecting items this holiday season to donate to our local animal rescue organizations.  Please stop by our hospital any time to place donated items in our collections boxes in the lobby.   Thank you for supporting this wonderful effort to ensure local pets in need have a happy holiday too!  Helpful Items to Donate Include:  Dog & Cat Food, Cat Litter, Play Toys, Avian & Exotic Supplies
Our community really came together and collected numerous pet items for families in need this holiday season.  Several families were touched who received donated items through the Pet Meals on Wheels Program, as well as countless pets who have not found their forever families yet at Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and Asheville Humane Society.

The 37th Annual Hey Day Fall Family Festival at the WNC Nature Center was splendid! October 12 ,2013

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! Over 100 pine cone bird feeders were made to help our wild feathered friends stay nourished for the upcoming winter.   

Asheville Humane Society's B.Y.O.B[rain] Trivia Night was FUN! October 5, 2013

Pets were fostered and 100% of proceeds raised will go to medicine, food, and supplies for AHS's Foster Program.

Dog Day Afternoon 2013  

Carrier Park had a wonderful turnout!  We enjoyed beautiful weather and had a blast hanging out with several clients & patients who participated.

Oliver completed the Canine Good Citizen Program; the first step towards his certification as a Therapy Dog.  Congratulations to Oliver!
