Dr. Rebecca Hoffman - Veterinarian

Dr. Rebecca Hoffman was raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

She attended the University of North Carolina Asheville, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine, during which she held roles in several prominent veterinary associations and completed an externship with the World Veterinary Association in Brussels and Paris.

After school, Dr. Hoffman completed a rotating internship at VCA Arboretum View in Downers Grove, IL, and a surgical internship at MedVet in Cincinnati, OH. Following her training, she worked as an Admissions veterinarian at South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty hospital, where she collaborated with specialists on complex cases and sharpened her diagnostic and treatment skills. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her role at Charlotte Street Animal Hospital. She emphasizes the quality of care provided to her patients, and she invests time to ensure owners understand their pets' health issues, so they can make informed decisions for their furry family members.

In her leisure time, Dr. Hoffman enjoys concocting cookie recipes, creating beaded jewelry, and trail running/hiking with her sweet dog, Coriander.
